The Infinity Kickstarter Campaign Ends This Week!

This chapter of Infinity’s long journey is coming to a close, as the Kickstarter campaign ends on Friday, September 17 at 7:58 am EDT. As of writing, the campaign is still going strong, with over 2950 backers and $330,000 pledged! As we mentioned in the previous newsletter, the final stretch goal will bring an enhanced version of Infinity to the Nintendo Switch (in addition to enhancing the already unlocked Steam version) at $350,000; there’s still time to reach this goal, so you’ve been thinking about backing the campaign, there’s no better time!

In addition, some of you may have seen the Infinity creators interview we posted on the Kickstarter page.  As you know, Infinity has over twenty years worth of history behind it, from development starting back in 1999, to this Kickstarter today in 2021. While we are honoured to be a part of this long history, the truth remains that we are just that: a part of it. Affinix originals Mathew, Eric, Justin, and Hideaki sat down back in June to discuss Infinity - the development, the music, the search for a publisher, and more - in anticipation of the long journey that brought the project to Kickstarter as you see it today; so if you’re curious to gain a little bit of insight about the game from those who have been with it since the beginning, we definitely recommend checking it out if you haven’t already. Again, the video can be found on our Kickstarter page.

That’s all for this update; while the end of the Kickstarter campaign is really only the beginning of the work that needs to be done to complete
Infinity, it’s nonetheless a big moment that is coming to a close. We thank everyone for helping make this campaign so successful, and we’re excited to see it go out with a bang!
