Retro Modding

Created in 2016, Retro Modding is a company based in Montreal, Canada. Its mission is to ensure the longevity of retro handheld systems. Specialized in the design and console components and modding parts, they collaborated with artist like Mr Beast, Justin Roiland (Rick & Morty), Spacebot Interactive (Dragonborne, Deadeus), NGDEV team, Chipzel (Crypt of the NecroDancer), The Retro Future, Rage Elixir, Eboys, Metal Jesus Rocks and many others.

Incube8 Games

A subsidiary of Retro Modding, Incube8 Games was launched in 2021 with the aim of facilitating the publishing of retro video game cartridges, mainly for 8-bit handheld consoles. Supported by Retro Modding’s expertise and supply chain, Incube8 Games offers turnkey publishing solutions for physical releases from the custom cartridges and PCBs to the boxes and games manuals. Incube8 Games is the official publisher for Pine Creek.

Spacebot Interactive

Spacebot Interactive is an indie developer who initially garnered interest with Dragonborne, an adventure RPG released in 2020, which has gone on to be one of the most successful indie Game Boy games in terms of sales. Spacebot Interactive is the official producer for Pine Creek.

Carmelo Electronics

Carmelo Electronics is a small independent games development studio located in Mexico and led by Tabique Malévolo. They focus mostly on adventure and story-driven games. Carmelo Electronics created and developed Pine Creek using GB Studio.

Pine Creek

The disappearance of a young girl in the previously quiet small town of Pine Creek raises the popular belief that a cult is behind the crime and many other ritual killings before her.
Her best friend will do his best to solve why, how, and who is behind it.
